Mike Wiese is Director, Head of Original & Branded Entertainment for global advertising agency JWT, where he leads the creative and business development of original programming, new content ventures and entertainment solutions for clients across the network, including digital video, scripted and unscripted film and television, music experience, licensing, talent partnerships and live events.
At JWT, Mike has developed and produced culturally relevant programming with Microsoft, Mario Batali, Sundance Film Festival, Rolex, BBC, National Geographic Channel, Macy’s, CBS, Harper-Collins, Facebook, TLC, Smirnoff, MTV, Nestle, J&J, CollegeHumor, US Marine Corp., Lifetime, and Sony Television. Prior to JWT, Mike launched the branded entertainment practices for production companies Hypnotic, and United Entertainment Group. Through his work, Mike’s created award-winning entertainment brands, including the Discovery Network long-running television series Stormchasers, Reebok’s Super Bowl legendary character, campaign and Cannes Lion winner, Terry Tate: Office Linebacker, and Macy’s iconic holiday franchise, Yes, Virginia.
